Portable Compactors
Our portable rubbish compactors are solar powered, and coin-operated ($2 - any combination of coins accepted).
Please note that from 1 May 2024 this charge will rise to $5 - the same amount it costs to dispose of a bag of rubbish at a Refuse and Recycling Transfer Station.

The compactors take general household refuse in bags up to 60 litres in size.
Please do not use the compactors to dispose of any hazardous waste, liquid waste or building waste. Anything other than general household rubbish should be taken to the nearest Refuse and Recycling Transfer Station.
