With our boat ramp permits, you can launch from any Council-operated boat ramp, regardless of which one you select when you register.

Payment types and currency conversion

You can make online payments using either Visa, Mastercard or Debit/Credit card. Online payments processed through our online services will appear on your statement as 'TCDC'. Thames-Coromandel District Council is a New Zealand-based Local Authority for trading/registration purposes. All fees and charges and transactions are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

Please note there is an online convenience fee of 2.10% associated with processing this transaction.

This is an ANZ Bank (Thames-Coromandel District Council's banking provider) charge and is subject to change.

Be sure to allow time before your instalment due date for processing the transaction. If you make your payment before 9pm, the payment will appear in your Thames-Coromandel District Council rate account on the following business day. Transactions after 9pm will appear after two business days.

Alternative ways to pay

Payments can be made by internet banking (LIM's, dog registrations, airfield landing fees, fines and deposits for resource and building consent applications), direct debit, by cash or eft-pos at one of our offices in Thames, Coromandel, Whitianga or Whangamatā.
