The conserve water notice for Coromandel Town will remain in place this weekend. Despite our reservoirs almost recovering from recent storms, forecasted poor weather for the weekend poses another risk to them.

Annual Plans

An Annual Plan is produced in the two intervening years between each Long Term Plan and outlines any key changes Council has made to what was forecast in the Long Term Plan. This states what the Council intends to achieve over the next financial year, how much it will cost, and how that cost will be funded (including the setting of rates).

Annual Plan 2025/2026

Last year, we completed our 2024-2034 LTP, and forecast our work programme, budgets and rates for the next 10 years. Right now, we’re preparing the Annual Plan for 2025/26 (Year 2 of the LTP), which allows us to address any change in circumstances.

Annual Plan 2023/2024

Reprioritising budgets and projects to make room for repairs to our storm-damaged roading network and to make it more resilient to extreme weather has been the focus of our Council’s Annual Plan for the 2023/24 financial year.
