Take notice that Thames-Coromandel District Council and Waikato Regional Council (Councils) intend to exercise their statutory powers under s77 of the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002 to apply to the District Court at Thames, not sooner than one month after the date of this notice, for orders declaring the land at Unit G3, 8 The Esplanade, Whitianga contained in Record of Title 320081 (South Auckland Registry) (Land) is abandoned and authorising the Councils to sell or lease the Land.
The Record of Title shows the registered proprietor of the Land as FIRST LIGHT HOLDINGS LIMITED which was removed from the Companies Register on 6 August 2010. Anyone having an interest in the Land or any information that is relevant to the proposed application by the Councils, please contact the Councils’ solicitors Cavell Leitch, attention: Sam Cowan.
