13 February 2026: New Remote Sales Off Licence - Coastal Distillers

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

Section 101, Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

 

Coastal Distillers Limited has made application to the Thames-Coromandel District Licensing Committee for the issue of an off licence in respect of the premises situated at 40 Centennial Drive Whitianga known as Coastal Distillers.

 

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is Remote Sales

 

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are:

 

A remote sale of alcohol can be made at any time on any day but cannot be delivered to the buyer at any time after 11pm on any day and before 6am the next day. No alcohol is to be delivered from the premises on Good Friday, Easter Sunday or Christmas Day or before 1.00 pm on Anzac Day.

 

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the office of the Thames-Coromandel District Licensing Committee at Thames-Coromandel District Council, 515 Mackay Street, Thames.

 

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 25 working days after the date of the publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at 515 Mackay Street, Thames.

 

No objection to the issue of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 105(1) of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
