Pursuant to section 86 of the Local Electoral Act 2001, I declare the results of the election and Māori wards poll held on 11 October 2025 to be as follows:
MAYOR (one vacancy)

I therefore declare Robert Barry ASHMAN to be elected.
Mercury Bay General Ward (three vacancies)
I therefore declare Tony BRLJEVICH, John Kenneth GRANT and Flemming RASMUSSEN, to be elected.
South East General Ward (two vacancies)
I therefore declare John William FREER and Alison SMITH to be elected.
Thames General Ward (three vacancies)
I therefore declare Greg HAMPTON, Martin RODLEY and Robyn SINCLAIR to be elected.

Māori Wards Poll
I therefore declare the option to REMOVE Māori wards for Thames-Coromandel District Council, effective for the 2028 and 2031 triennial elections, is passed.
