Mayoral Forum – Thames

On Saturday 20th September 2025 from 12pm - 3pm at the Thames Civic Centre Conference Room, 200 Mary Street, Thames 3500

Due to audio issues with our recent Candidates’ Forum at the Civic Centre, which particularly impacted the Mayoral Candidates, the Thames Business Association is re-hosting a Forum for the Mayoral Candidates. We will also be making some changes to the format:

5-minute opening speech from each candidate.
Every question will be addressed to each candidate so that voters hear each person’s stance on issues of importance
Each of those questions will be displayed on the screen so that those attending the Forum can see what is being asked
The questions to be asked are those we didn’t get to on Saturday the 30th, due to time constraints.
Michelle Johns of CFM Coromandel will be the Moderator Special thanks to CFM Coromandel for the loan of their audio equipment.

This Mayoral Forum is open to the public. If it is being live-streamed, we will advise asap. We may not need this time; however, we have planned for it, just in case.
