Across the district, communities are doing incredible things: restoring local environments, running events, improving facilities, and supporting wellbeing.

Council funding helps make many of these initiatives possible. But our current Grants Policy is outdated and doesn’t reflect how communities operate today.

That’s why we’ve developed the Proposed Community Funding Policy: a clearer, more streamlined approach to how Council supports community-led initiatives.

pe the final policy and ensure our funding approach is fair, clear, and works well for communities across the district.
