Deciding Your Application
All applications are decided by the District Licensing Committee except for Building and Planning Certificates (these are decided by a Building Compliance Officer and a Resource Consent Planner).
Your application, any additional information you have provided, agency responses along with the inspectors report will be sent to DLC.
District Licensing Committee will hold a hearing if:
- Members of the public object to your application
- NZ Police, Waikato District Health Board or our inspector oppose your application
We will be in contact with you if we receive any of the above and provide options and instructions on what happens next.
If DLC decides to grant your licence it will be posted to you along with a decision letter, the DLC decision and the Licencing Inspectors report. Manager Certificates are emailed unless a request is received to post it.
