Weather alert Friday 24 February

MetService has issued a Severe Weather Watch for the Coromandel, effectively for Friday 24 February. While the forecasted weather is nowhere near as intensive as in the past few weeks, any rain on our already saturated land is likely to create more slips and surface flooding.

We will be receiving regular updates from MetService and the Waikato Regional Council over the next 24 hours, and we will post these as soon as we can. Meanwhile, stay connected and informed.
