Funding HQ Mentorship Programme

Arts, culture and heritage organisations from around the Coromandel are taking part in a year-long online training and mentorship programme to build on their fundraising skills.

Our Council and Creative Coromandel are supporting the members of up to 15 arts, culture and heritage organisations to participate in the programme, which will be run online by capability building platform Funding HQ. It includes some self-directed learning, expert monthly one-on-one coaching, access to the sector's most comprehensive funding database, and additional tailored fundraising support.

Creative Coromandel (He Mana Toi Moehau) are an independent charitable trust, made up of artists and advocates from around the region. Fiona Cameron, Chair of Creative Coromandel, says Funding HQ’s expertise is helping organisations to achieve their goals, while strengthening our local arts, culture and heritage sector.

She describes it as a “unique opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, gain valuable insights and resources around funding success”.

"Organisations are receiving personalised guidance from experienced mentors who are passionate about helping the arts, culture, and heritage sector thrive,” says Fiona. “Participants will gain access to a wealth of knowledge and resources to help them achieve their funding goals.”

Several members from within each organisation are taking the course, completing 12 modules and participating in regular online sessions, which began in August.
