Consultation on the Cemeteries Bylaw 2015 revocation

cemeteries

The Cemeteries Bylaw 2015 is no longer considered to be the best way to manage the cemeteries activity in our district, so we are interested in revoking it.

Behaviour in public cemeteries is manged through other bylaws such as Activities in Public Places Bylaw 2017- Te Ture ā-Rōhe ki ngā Wāhi Marea.

The consultation period is open from 14 January to 18 February 2022.
