Onemana Drive slip remedial work update - 12 May 2017 12 May 2017 Photo: Remedial work in progress at Onemana Drive. Loose vegetation has been removed and the chipping of the trees has been completed, as part of the clean-up and remediation work at Onemana, following damage from last month's severe weather. We are now waiting for a quotation from the geostabilisation contractor for the next stage of the remediaton works. On Monday 15 May, our Project Manager will be meeting the drainage contractor on site to determine the best route for the new storm water drain from the reserve. It's likely it will need to pass through private property to connect to our existing storm water system in the area. "At the moment, we can't give a specific date for when the next stage of work will start, but I'm confident that it should happen in the next two weeks, subject to the weather," says Bruce Hinson our Infrastructure Manager. "We thank the community for their patience during this time and we will provide a further update next week when we expect to know more," adds Mr Hinson. All of the demolition and construction work is being carried out by a Council approved contractors and health and safety management will be in place before work starts.
