No unregistered dogs on the Coromandel 11 December 2013 Great result by dog rangers After October's success in bringing the number of known unregistered dogs down to only 21, our team began working on locating all unknown dogs in the district to ensure they too were registered. And they succeeded. By the end of last month, there were zero unregistered dogs on the Coromandel. Naturally, new dogs appear on the peninsula by natural methods and with the summer influx, so officers will continue to look for any unregistered dogs. If you know of anyone with an unregistered dog from now onwards, we strongly urge you to encourage them to get registration sorted before our dog rangers come calling. PS. It will cost someone $300 if found with an unregistered dog.
