Tuateawa Nikau Grove Walk

Nikau are a common native species on the Coromandel, and stands of these lush sub-tropical trees give an air of remote and unspoilt beauty to the forest.

This lovely walk is approximately 800m down to the sea and offers superb rugged, unspoilt scenery from pohukawa and nikau forest to amazing views over the sea.

The track starts approximately 300m past Puriri Place, on Waihirere Rd. Set aside up to an hour for the return walk.
