Sundown Festival, Whangamata  -  2 January 2022

Important Messaging from the Joes Farm Team

We are so lucky and grateful here in Whangamata that we get to hold events this summer under the orange and green lights of the traffic light system.

With that comes responsibility and while Summer festivities is an exciting time for all, it's very important to remember we must all look out for the community, our friends and Whānau when celebrating.

If you are attending Sundown Festival please make sure you take the time to read and follow our safety pointers. You can help by sharing this to your friends coming along too! ❤️

💛 Do not drink and drive! "Just crash here" — Overnight camping is available for both events. Take the safe option for you and the communities around you.

💛 Walk to the Bus, our Shuttle Service is not a park and ride.

💛 Full Liquor Ban Zone across Whangamata. No alcohol when walking to or on to the Bus!

💛 New town Security System has been installed to monitor Liquor Ban alongside officials and community.

💛 Respect the Community — We want to continue to provide this experience to the Coromandel so don't make this the last event!

💛 PLEASE STAY HOME IF YOU’RE SICK: Call your doctor if you have any cold, flu or Covid like symptoms.

💛 Sanitise and wash your hands.

💛 Use the NZ Covid Tracer App.
