Water main break in Thames disrupts water supply to Richmond Street (updated)

Area of water shut now extended
Investigations into a break in the water mains outside 803 Richmond Street in Thames has resulted in an widening of the area affected by the emergency water shut down.
Properties affected now include Richmond Street and parts of most side streets between and including Mill Street and Mackay Streets. These include: Mill Street, Hill Street, The Terrace, Augustus Street, Sandes Street, Rolleston Street and Baillie Street.
There may also be a slight drop in water pressure in the surrounding area.
