Geographic Information System
Thames-Coromandel District Council has a comprehensive GIS (Geographic Information System).
We have district wide data covering most of Councils services and functions.

Datasets Include
- The Cadastre (legal parcel boundaries)
- Aerial photography of the whole district (higher resolution for towns and major settlements)
- Utilities/Infrastructure
- Archaeological/Heritage Sites
- Contour data
- Many, many others
Members of the public are able to request maps including Council data (subject to legislative and privacy constraints).
Fees And Charges
Charges may apply for provision of maps. There is a standard print charge and provision for a charge for time taken for complex requests as per requests under the Official Information Act.
