When and Where can you exercise your dog
During summer months, locals and visitors who own dogs should be aware when and where they can exercise their dogs and which areas are restricted or off limits. Council has updated its dog information sheets and maps which outline dog exercise areas, nesting zones, summer and total ban areas to help owners identify these.
As a general rule over the summer months, dogs are banned from beaches and reserves between the hours of 9 am and 7 pm and must be kept under control at all times.
