Artists Express Charitable Trust
Artists Express is a group of Coromandel artists who came together to share resources, information & friendship. In 2005 they formed a
charitable trust whose main purpose is to organise community-based creative projects in the Coromandel-Colville ward. Artists Express
operates on a not-for-profit basis.
Artists Express runs an event called The Great Coromandel Arts Tour, now in its successful second year, which happens every May. The Tour is a scenic drive that visitors can make, whilst stopping in at artists’ studios in the Coromandel-Colville ward. There are a number of add-on events tempting visitors to stay overnight, with live music, poetry and performance.
