Hearings

If you enter a submission you can present it live at a Hearing...or not...! It's your choice.

At one of these meetings, your elected members will listen to you present your submission in person. If you don’t want to present your thoughts at a Hearing, that’s ok too. Your elected members will receive a copy of every submission to read as well. The public can also attend the Hearings to watch the proceedings.

To make it easy for you, we are holding hearings all over the Peninsula.

From 9am at:

  • Thames – Friday, 11 May 2012 in the Council Chambers, Thames
  • Coromandel/Colville – Wednesday, 9 May 2012 at the Coromandel Service Centre
  • Mercury Bay – Monday, 7 May 2012 at the Mercury Bay Service Centre, Whitianga
  • Tairua/Pauanui – Thursday, 10 May 2012 at the Lakes Resort, Pauanui
  • Whangamata – Tuesday, 8 May 2012 at the Whangamata Service Centre
