Ratepayers and residents have completed a Community Plan in conjunction with the Mercury Bay Community Board.
This plan reflects the hopes, ideas and priorities of this community and forms part of Council’s long term plans. It provides a framework which can be used to guide decision making for local planning purposes (although its contents are not binding on the Council). It may for example be used to secure support from within and outside the community for funding for specific projects. It is in the same format as that of other community plans across the district.
The plan is both used and reported on annually to the Community Board and the public.
