Meeting dates and locations are publicly notified in local newspapers five to fourteen days before the end of each month. Special and emergency meetings are publicly notified as soon as practicable before the meeting. In general, no meetings are held in January. Members of the public can inspect copies of agendas at Council service centres and libraries two days prior to the meeting. Meetings are generally held at the following times, days and locations but may change from time to time.

Council
Council meetings are held six weekly at 9:00 am, in the Council Chambers, Thames. From time to time, Council holds its meetings at other locations throughout the District. The Wednesday two weeks prior to the Council meeting is held in reserve for Council workshops or special meetings.

Audit Committee
This Committee meets quarterly on a Monday commencing at 1 p.m. in the Council Chamber, Thames. For more information about this Committee click here.

This Committee meets quarterly with dates and venue to be publicly notified.For more information about this Committee click here.
Judicial Committee
Meetings are held at 9:00 am on the second Thursday of the month in Thames. From time to time, the Committee may hold its meetings at another location. The last Thursday of the month (with the exception of June when it falls on the 25 of the month and September when it falls on the 24 of the month) is held in reserve for Hearings Committee workshops or special meetings. Coromandel-Colville Community Board
Meetings are held six weekly on a Tuesday from 8:00a.m at the Coromandel Service Centre.
Mercury Bay Community Board
Meetings are held six weekly on a Tuesday from 9:00 am at the Mercury Bay Service Centre.
Tairua-Pauanui Community Board
Meetings are held six weekly on a Monday from 1:30pm at either the Pauanui Lakes Resort or the Tairua Bowling Club.
Thames Community Board
Meetings are held six weekly on a Monday from 9:00am in the Council Chamber, Thames.
Whangamata Community Board
Meetings are held six weekly on a Thursday from 1:30pm at the Whangamata Service Centre.
