Council is an elected body of nine representatives - the Mayor and eight Councillors.
The Mayor is elected at large across the whole District. Councillors are elected from three wards (Coromandel/Colville, Coromandel Peninsula East and Thames) and are also members of various Community Boards and Council Committees.
