Local Authority Elections

Elections for the Thames-Coromandel District Council will be held on 9 October 2010.

Council and Environment Waikato elections will be held by postal vote (First Past the Post). The Waikato District Health Board will use the Single Transferable Voting (STV) electoral system.

To be able to vote, please make sure you are enrolled on the Parliamentary Roll.

If you are a non-resident ratepayer (own a property on the Coromandel but live elsewhere), you will also need to check that you are enrolled as a Ratepayer Elector by phoning our election help line on 0800 922 822.

Information of interest to voters and candidates will be placed on this site as it becomes available.  This will include: fact sheets, ratepayer roll enrolment forms, public notices and nomination material.
