The Coromandel/Colville Community Board services the northern end of the Coromandel Peninsula from Kereta in the south, to Port Jackson at the tip of the Peninsula, and across to Tuateawa on the eastern seaboard.
There are four elected members to a community board, however Councillors are also members of various community boards.

- To continue to work with staff to resolve outstanding issues in Coromandel Town.
- To complete the development of the Coromandel Sports Domain.
- To complete the Coromandel Town Zoning Project in order to encourage appropriate development in sustainable locations.
- To support the Coromandel and Outlying Communities Plan.
- To improve Service Delivery results and to see a major improvement in the general overall environment of the Ward, in particular, its roads and reserves.
- To keep the community informed of progress and completion of Community Board projects.
- To review these goals annually.
