Notice of Summary of Submissions and call for Further Submissions
In accordance with Clause 7 of Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act 1991, a summary of the decisions requested in submissions received on Proposed Variation 22 and Plan Change 5 to the Thames-Coromandel District Plan (Operative in Part), Confirmation of "Use of Value to the Community" boundary, Otama Camp Ground, 400 Black Jack Road, Otama (Lots 1-4 DP391915) has been prepared.
Further submissions can now be made by any person, but ONLY in support of or opposition to any of the original submissions. That is, no new proposals beyond the scope of the original submissions may be introduced at this further submission stage.
Any person that makes a further submission must, within 5 working days, serve a copy of their submission on the person who made the original submission. Further submissions shall be made on Form 6. The summary of submissions, database of submitters, Form 6 and a copy of the public notice are available at the end of this section under Application Documentation.

Approximately 600 submissions were received in response to the public notification. At present Thames-Coromandel District Council is working through these and the opportunity for further submissions will be advised as soon as possible.

The Thames-Coromandel District Council has prepared the following proposed variation and plan change to its District Plan - Operative in Part (the proposal):
Proposed Variation 22 and Plan Change 5 proposes to confirm the "Use of Value to the Community" boundary, Otama Campground, 400 Black Jack Road - Otama.
The proposal may be inspected at the following places: Thames-Coromandel District Council offices in Thames, Whitianga, Coromandel and Whangamata, and public libraries in the District. Members of the public may inspect the documents at these places at any time they are open to the public. Please contact the District Plan Co-ordinator on 07 868 0200 if you have any questions about the proposed variation and plan change.
