As a result of the submissions on the above Notice of Requirement by PowerCo, the Thames-Coromandel District Council requested further information from PowerCo to enable a thorough and robust assessment of the Notice to be made.  PowerCo have advised that they are working through a number of issues including the consideration of alternative routes which were suggested in some of the submissions.  PowerCo have advised that this consideration of alternatives is taking longer than expected due to the co-ordination of various experts to assess the relevant aspects of the alternatives.

PowerCo have however advised that they expect to be in a position to provide Council with the information within four weeks.  At that stage and depending on the information that is provided we hope to be able to advise of the next steps in the process.

In the meantime if you have any questions please contact Karl Baldwin of KTB Planning Consultants Ltd on (07) 823 8252.  Karl is working on behalf of Council and processing this Notice of Requirement.
